HOW WE CAN HELP
Whatever the issue may be, accessing counselling is an important step towards a better future which is why We All Need To Talk is here to support you in that step. I specialise in eating disorders/disordered eating, but my skills and training encompass working with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, panic disorders, grief/bereavement, family issues, low self-esteem/low self-confidence, stress, trauma/PTSD, sexual identity, OCD and phobias. No matter how big or small the issue may seem to you, I am trained to help you.
Eating Disorders
Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating, Compulsive & Emotional Eating, Orthorexia, Night Eating Syndrome, ARFID, FED-NEC (feeding and eating disorder not elsewhere classified) are all problems which sometimes impel clients to seek counselling. The focus is to help clients identify the underlying causes of conflict in relation to food and to create a healthy and sustainable relationship with food and self.
AnxietyAnxiety can be debilitating and although it is sometimes unavoidable in everyday living, it can be problematic in certain stages of life, affecting us in four main ways - physically, our thoughts, mood and behaviour.
Bereavement & GriefBereavement and grief counselling are designed to help people cope effectively with the death of a loved one. The aim is to help you function normally and more effectively, however long it takes.
DepressionUnlike the occasional bout of sadness, depression will affect your daily life and make it hard for you to find enjoyment. Depression can be debilitating and some days you may find it impossible to get out of bed, while other days you may be able to hide it.
Eating DisordersAnorexia, Bulimia and compulsive eating are all problems which sometimes impel clients to seek counselling. The focus is to help clients identify the underlying causes of conflict in relation to food.
Family IssuesFamily life can be a place of refuge and security, but for some it is a source of pain and disappointment. Our families absorb many of the stress and strains of the outside world - and the pressure can boil over.
Low-Self EsteemLow Self-Esteem is manifested by how you think and feel about yourself. These thoughts and feelings can also impact on how people behave in their lives in general.
Relationship IssuesRelationships are a very meaningful part of life. Strong connections with our loved ones, friends and work colleagues allow us to be at our healthiest and most productive, and for many these relationships offer an important source of support.
StressAlmost everyone experiences stress from time to time, and while a small amount of stress can motivate us, too much or prolonged stress can be damaging to both our physical and mental health. If left untreated, it can lead to illness.

What Our Clients Say
"Before my sessions with Anita, I really thought my problems with my relationship were unfixable. But she gave me the insight I needed to make changes in my life that have made such a big difference in the long run. I owe a lot to her and highly recommend to anyone that is looking for support or someone to talk to that knows how to help."
